Meet Our Staff
Nutrition Assistant, Office Manager & Wellness Educator
Lisa comes to us from Corporate America, where she spent over a decade as a business analyst and project manager. Also a Reiki master, she felt out of place in that environment. Already a 2-year veteran participant at LOL, Lisa jumped at the opportunity to join this team in 2012 and help further the Lotus of Life mission. Lisa is our primary NRT practitioner and she also teaches the wellness classes at LOL, and manages the office.
Lisa lives about a mile down the road from LOL with her husband, two daughters, two dogs and cat. When she’s not working, she’s biking, gardening, cooking, reading, making her own make-up and skincare products, or practicing Reiki.

Kara has benefited from chiropractic care since childhood, and has been a participant at Lotus of Life since their opening in 2006.
Having always had a strong interest in natural healing, Kara worked as a massage therapist after graduating from FSU with a degree in theatre. She currently enjoys her regular yoga practice and spending active time outdoors, while still maintaining a passion for learning about natural health.
Kara recently matriculated at UGA’s Clinical Social Work masters program. She’s happy to be able to remain at LOL part time while in school, and is looking forward to an exciting new adventure upon her completion of the program.
Stephanie began her natural health journey in 2008 as a graduate of Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health. She has since worked as a massage and neuromuscular therapist, Starbucks supervisor and childcare provider and thoroughly looks forward to combining her experiences here at Lotus of Life while continuing to explore the fascinating world of holistic health. On her days off, Stephanie enjoys reading, writing and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to walk her whippet, Iris, on the Beltline, or at one of the many beautiful parks of Atlanta.deciding on a change from her long career in childcare, Kara is excited to be here at Lotus of Life.
